وكان الدكتور المجالي وهو أستاذ اللغة العربية قد عمل نائبا لرئيس جامعة الزيتونة كما وعمل عميدا لشؤون الطلبة وعميدا لكلية الآداب في الزيتونة سابقا ..
كما وتدرج الدكتور المجالي في عدد من المواقع والمراكز العلمية والأكاديمية في جامعة مؤته
